Online bulk purchase scam!!


Dear all,

Not sure whether you have heard of this news. A woman made use of the Singaporemotherhood forum for spree to cheat money. She poses as a co-ordinator for spree for Coach and Kate Spade handbags and collected as much as SGD 30,000 from over 60 buyers, then went 'MIA'. Gosh, the buyers went to report to police and they subsequently arrested a woman. Luckily SMH obtained a copy of NRIC and account details of anyone who wants to organise a spree.

This kind of ppl really "mei liang xin". It's already very hard for ppl to trust buying things online, and yet these black sheeps make it worst.

Let's hope we will always be lucky when purchasing online.
